“The most precious gift we can offer anyone is our attention. When mindfulness embraces those we love, they will bloom like flowers.”
~Thich Nhat Hanh
Therapy to treat trauma and promote healing.
EMDR
EMDR is a trauma therapy that many people have heard of and that I practice often with my clients. It will help you heal traumatic memories and emotional distress through bilateral rapid eye movement. Connect with me to learn more.
Brainspotting
Brainspotting is another trauma therapy that works similarly to EMDR, however, instead of rapid eye movement, we spend the beginning of the session finding one spot, or “brainspot”, that connects to a traumatic memory. Either of these trauma therapies are effective! I am happy to discover which one works best for you.
Emotional Freedom Technique
I encourage you to look up this technique online! It is also referred to as EFT or the “tapping” technique. It utilizes tapping on acupressure points to regulate the body and relieve stress and anxiety.
Mindfulness and Self-Compassion
There are many ways to experience life in the present moment, which is not where anxiety and depression live. Mindfulness can help us live more presently and thoughtfully.
Self-Compassion is not something that many of us are comfortable with. I challenge you to let me help you find your way to more compassion for yourself.

There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.
